Water Tower Research (WTR) Announces Promotion of Joy Malone to Chief Operations Officer

Chief Executive Officer Charlie Phippen is pleased to announce the appointment of Joy Malone as Chief Operations Officer, effective today.

She joined WTR from The Benchmark Company where she was Head of Business Development. Previously, she led emerging and rapidly expanding research teams as Director of Research for both Loop Capital Markets and Topeka Capital. Malone was also a co-founder and partner of Blue Water Capital, an independent bespoke research firm. Prior to equity research management, she was a top- producing boutique equity salesperson for 20 years and led institutional sales efforts for Soleil Securities, Tucker Anthony Sutro, and Punk, Ziegel & Company.
