A Guide to WoW Dragonflight Enchanting

How to level up Enchanting in World of Warcraft and other useful things.

Enchanting is one of the more in-demand professions in World of Warcraft. Their buffing capability is top-notch, and they can also provide cosmetic enhancements. WoW gold isn’t much of a problem since every time players replace their gear, they’ll want new enchants as the old ones aren’t transferable.

What’s New in WoW Dragonflight Enchanting

Most things have stayed the same compared to other professions, but it got more depth. High-end enchantments now provide more buffs and abilities. Products no longer focus on those who participate in endgame content. Some enchants can be added to profession tools for those who enjoy them.

Dustmonger Topuiz and Ponzo also offer new recipes. They must get experience in making new products for the first time. The same patch includes new Enchanted Crests, the Season 2 Infusions. Players who want the best gear to be even better will ask enchanters for those.

Learning Enchanting

Find Soragosa in The Artisan’s Market in Valdrakken, who’ll teach you the profession. The other teachers are:

  • Veeno at Wingrest Embassy
  • Solonga at Ohn’iri Springs
  • Asarin at Teerakai
  • Enchanted Book at Rhonin’s Shield
  • Alagosa at Algeth’era Court

Leveling Enchanting

Similar to other professions, you can only go so far using vendor recipes. Leveling crafting skills would require spending Knowledge Points or farm renown.

The process is creating everything vendors give you, prioritizing making things for the first time to get Knowledge Points. Be careful where you allocate the KPs, as they are not refundable. Even unlearning and relearning the profession will not reset it.

Anyway, this will continue until level 55, when you switch your focus to renown and Knowledge Point recipes. You can do one or the other, but the most efficient way is doing both. However, it’s easier on the wallet to do only one path. That’s up to you which you’ll choose. If you have trouble, the option to ask for help through WoW profession boosting services is always available.

Enchanting Specializations

You can pick one specialization tree at specific milestones in your leveling (25, 50, 75). These will provide new recipes, abilities, and skills to improve Enchanting.

Enchantment: It focuses on weapon and profession tool enchants. It unlocks specific tools, rings, chest ones, and best-in-slot weapon buffs. It also improves your Enchanting for equipment.

Insight of the Blue: The specialization focuses on disenchanting and gathering resources from chests and enemies. It unlocks the Crystalline and Elemental Shatter skills and the ability to loot Mystic items from chests and enemies. Improves your Enchanting in general.

Rods, Runes, and Ruses: This tree significantly improves Enchanting stats and focuses on making wands and best-in-slot enchanting profession tools.

As mentioned, be sure when spending your Knowledge Points, as they are non-refundable. There’s no way to reset the trees. You can use profession specialization calculators so you can be confident in allocation.

Earning Currency with Enchanting

The ingredients hadn’t adopted the changes other crafting professions’ reagents did. This makes Enchanting a more straightforward and casual affair. It still works like before. Enchanters have a wide variety of buffs to bring to equipment, giving them a wide net for customers.

Since their products are commodities, putting them up for sale in the Region-Wide Auction House is easy. However, due to the significant demand, there would be intense competition.

What You Can Make With the Profession

Enchantments: It’s in the name. Players use these on their equipment, providing buffs and stat boosts.

Illusions and Adornments: Cosmetic items that can provide a unique visual effect. Usually applied on weapons and shoulder equipment.

Weapons: Despite the limited variety, Enchanters can create Wands for one-handed casters, such as the Torch of Primal Awakening.

Enchanted Crests: These upgrade Season 2 crafted gear to the highest item level possible. Enchanters with access to recipes and their ingredients will be in demand.

Miscellaneous Items: Other than the above, they can make some uncategorized items, such as a battle pet, a lockpick, and Sophic Amalgamation.

Disenchanting: Arguably, salvaging old things can give you resources to fuel future crafting endeavors, so these counts.

Enjoy Enchanting!

Enchanting sits in the average. There are more popular choices, but they are also not unpopular. Still, it has advantages over the others (like being simpler to pick up and easier to get reagents). It also has various options for earning currency. Although it’s not as exciting as Alchemy or Engineering, Enchanting is one profession that players need.
