An overview- SIGN UP ($20 BOUNS)

InboxDollars provides cash for surveys as well as a sign up bonus. Expect low earnings and be cautious about third-party promotions. Laura McMullenJul 19, 2017.

Many of the products you see here come from our partners, who pay us. These partners may influence the products we write about, and the way that the product appears on a page. This does not affect our evaluations. All opinions expressed here are ours. Here’s a list of our partners. And here’s how make money .

InboxDollars made an impressive first impression with their $5 credit for signing-up and the rewards system that is based on money rather than points. After five hours of online surveys, I found that the pay rate was not the highest of all the sites NerdWallet tested. Some of the surveys required personal information that I wasn’t comfortable with.

How InboxDollars works

My InboxDollars experience began on a high note. For completing a brief profile survey, I was able to earn 50 cents more after receiving my signup bonus. I appreciated the ability to see a list with all available surveys, as well as the dollar (or cents) value. Many sites we tested used points. It can be difficult to determine a survey’s value. The list also contained the estimated time for each survey and for some the topic.

“I could see a list with all the surveys that are available, along with their exact dollar (or cent), value.”

InboxDollars, like other sites, is a survey aggregator. Clicking on a survey link will usually redirect you to a third party site. Most cases I was directed to a standard survey setup. These included questions about my gender, age and ZIP code followed by questions on a specific topic or disqualification. Some of the topics I covered were insurance, grocery stores, and McDonald’s.

InboxDollars directed me in a few instances to “exclusive offers” rather than straightforward surveys. To earn money and enter a sweepstakes to win a Target gift certificate, one required me to provide my name, address and phone number. Another time, I was asked to enter my email address in order to choose between Pepsi and Coke for $1 and a sweepstakes entry. I did not want to provide my contact information to third-party websites so I clicked out.

Be prepared for disqualification

Your demographics, possessions, and other factors will determine whether you are eligible for a survey. Some surveys may not suit me as a woman of 20 years without children or mortgage.

I took 38 surveys, seven of which were profile surveys. This is an 18% success rate which is the lowest of the 12 sites that we tested. I would most often receive a disqualification letter with a link to another survey opportunity. A few surveys required me to answer questions for several minutes before I was given the boot.

Payoff: 41 cents an hour

I earned $2.05 for the five hours spent testing InboxDollars. This does not include the profile survey. This is 41 cents an hour, which is the lowest rate among all sites we tested.

“I only made $2.05 during the five hours I spent testing InboxDollars. This is 41 cents an hour.

My total reached $7.60 after my $5 signup bonus and 50-cent profile survey. I also won a nickel in an InboxDollars contest. To cash out, you need $30. I would have to take many more surveys before I could see any money.

Simple work and little reward

Online surveys don’t usually yield much no matter what site you visit. It’s worth looking at other ways to earn money. Answering questions is simple work that almost anyone can do.

Consider looking for sites that offer higher success rates and hourly wages if you are interested in taking surveys. Check out our reviews of 11 other websites that offer surveys to make money.

No matter which survey site you choose to use, you should set up an email address for any messages that you might receive from it. Anti-malware software should also be installed on your computer in case the survey site redirects to a third-party spammy page. You can also avoid eye strain by taking frequent breaks away from the screen.

InboxDollars was founded in 2000 as a cash reward website. Since then, the company has seen a significant growth and now has millions of members all over the globe. This is one of the best ways to make money online.

InboxDollars purchased SendEarnings and launched two sister companies, InboxPounds (U.K.) and DailyRewards (Canada).

Prodege acquired InboxDollars in 2019, a larger online company which also owns Swagbucks and ShopAtHome.

InboxDollars offers its members the opportunity to sign up for additional services via its website or through email marketing ads. For first-time subscribers, the company offers a $20 sign up bonus. It’s not as simple as just getting $20.

InboxDollars gives members many ways to make money. Next, we’ll discuss each one.

1. InboxDollars Surveys

InboxDollars members are able to earn money by taking surveys. These surveys include in-depth market research questionnaires, quick registrations, and opinion forms.

The length of the survey and how much InboxDollars is paid by the advertiser will determine the amount you are paid. You can take surveys on your computer or the InboxDollars survey app.

2. InboxDollar Games

The InboxDollars “Paid Games Portal” is a great place to play computer games. Their website states that members can win cash, gift cards, and prizes by simply playing online games.

Tip: Some games may require you to download third-party software or apps. Make sure you are able to trust the software you have downloaded.

3. InboxDollars Videos

Watching Paid Videos is the next way to make money with InboxDollars. Members can view sponsored content to earn cash in their InboxDollars accounts. It’s not too bad!

The best thing about videos is the fact that they are almost like fun news. You can keep up with celebrity gossip, entertainment and foodie videos, as well as the most recent trends in technology or health care.

4. InboxDollars Coupons

InboxDollars’ “Grocery Coupons Portal” is a great place to start if you are a coupon clipper. This section will allow you to find coupons for your favourite brands. You can download them or print them and earn money in your InboxDollars Account.

InboxDollars Paid shopping portal allows online shoppers to earn cashback. According to InboxDollars, major brands such as Walmart and Gap offer a commission to customers who shop through the linked links in their InboxDollars accounts.

InboxDollars then shares a portion with you.

InboxDollars’ “PaidEmail” program allows members to make money simply by opening and reading emails. Members must opt in to receive PaidEmails directly to their inboxes.

You might be charged a small fee for opening and reading the message. If it is an advertisement you are interested in learning more about, such as a streaming video service that you can use for free for one month, you may be able to visit the advertiser’s landing pages.

InboxDollars membership is completely free. Signing up for an account will give you a $20 bonus. You must have at most $30 cash rewards in your account to be eligible for payment. The minimum payout threshold is one of the drawbacks of this program, which I’ll discuss later.

Many of these so-called “free surveys,” pay only $0.25. These surveys can take up to 10 minutes, or even longer. You could spend hours filling out surveys, but only make a few dollars.

If you do the math, you could be making $1.50 an hour when all is said and done.

Visit the InboxDollars site to sign up. Enter your email address and choose a password.

Next, confirm your email address. After that, you can start earning.

There are many customer complaints and colorful reviews, as you would expect from a website this large. It is a common complaint that it is difficult to reach the $30 reward level threshold, which you must meet to receive any cash.

Customers complain that InboxDollars charges $3 for outgoing payments. InboxDollars will take 10% off your $30 final goal.

InboxDollars remains a safe and legitimate website. They are accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and backed by Prodege, a leading market research and lead generation firm.

Fair warning, customer reviews about the BBB are not great. You might also want to consider this before you sign up.

InboxDollars seems to provide a self-service portal that allows customers to access their customer support. It doesn’t seem like there is a live phone number that you can call.

Zendesk allows you to submit tickets via Zendesk. You can also contact us via other methods.

It doesn’t seem that InboxDollars offers the best customer support platform.

InboxDollars is not the only website similar to it.

However, most of these sites aren’t as popular as InboxDollars.

Ironically, Prodege now owns some of the InboxDollars alternatives. You might find similarities between the sites.

  • Swagbucks
  • MyPoints
  • PrizeRebel
  • SendEarnings
  • ShopatHome
  • TreasureTrooper

This list contains the top surveys for money sites.

Here are the top questions I get about InboxDollars.

What is the maximum amount of money you can make using InboxDollars

InboxDollars members make money every time they complete a survey or respond to an offer in their account. However, the amount you earn will depend on how much time you invest in your account and how many surveys you complete.

Surveys can pay anywhere from a few pennies to a few hundred dollars per month. They can be time-consuming and difficult to qualify for. To get a larger payout, you will need to either make a purchase or register for a free trial.

Remember that you may be charged more by the advertiser if you don’t cancel your free trial. What’s the point of being in this situation?

To receive funds, you must have $30 in your account. InboxDollars is a good option, but you won’t be able to make more than $30. My opinion is that this website has a low earning potential.

Is InboxDollars legit?

Yes, InboxDollars can be trusted and is safe. Prodege, a larger online company, owns the company. The company has been in existence since 2000. Crunchbase reports that Prodege has raised over $60 million.

How can you make a lot of money with InboxDollars

InboxDollars won’t make you a lot of money, I will be honest. If $30 is too much, then that’s fine! I believe any claims or promises to that effect should be ignored.

What is the average time it takes to get paid by InboxDollars

InboxDollars takes around two weeks to pay you.

  • Sign up for InboxDollars absolutely free.
  • Sign up and receive a $20 bonus just for creating an account.
  • It is a well-established company that has been in operation since 2000.
  • It offers a user-friendly online site and mobile apps.

  • The minimum payment is $30
  • For receiving payments, there is a $3 transaction charge.
  • Two weeks is required to receive your funds.
  • Most of the “free surveys” require that you purchase something.
  • Due to low payouts in many surveys, it takes too long to make $30.

InboxDollars is a great option for those who are bored or would rather spend their time scrolling through endless videos on the internet. InboxDollars might be the right option for you if you want to make a few extra dollars without really thinking about what you are doing.

InboxDollars offers a very low earning potential. You can make a few dollars an hour. That’s assuming you’re fortunate. I hope that you are more concerned about your time than you think if you read my blog. Here are some side hustle opportunities that can be lucrative.
